RECHARGE & DIGITAL SERVICES

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellation, refund and payment-reversal handling for Mobile Recharge, DTH Recharge and applicable digital assistance services provided through Pockket Recharge.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to payments made through the Pockket Recharge website for recharge services and applicable digital, documentation, application and assistance services.

Different services may have different refund conditions because a recharge transaction, a digital application and a service involving physical work are processed differently. The service-specific conditions below will apply according to the transaction type.

2. Mobile & DTH Recharge

Recharge transactions are processed after successful payment confirmation and are submitted to the applicable telecom or DTH service system.

✓ Successful Recharge Once the recharge has been successfully processed for the customer-provided number or subscriber details, cancellation or refund is generally not available.
◷ Pending Recharge A pending transaction may require verification or confirmation from the relevant service system before its final status is known.
✕ Failed Recharge Where payment is confirmed but the recharge is reported as failed, the transaction will be verified and any applicable refund or reversal will be handled according to the transaction status.
↻ Reversed / Refund Eligible Where a transaction is determined to be eligible for reversal or refund, the applicable amount will be processed through the available payment/refund process.
Customer responsibility: Customers must verify the mobile number, DTH subscriber/customer ID, operator and recharge amount before completing payment. A successful recharge sent to the customer-entered details may not be reversible because the wrong number or details were entered by the customer.

3. Recharge Payment Failure

If the customer's bank account, card, UPI account or other payment method is debited but the payment is not confirmed in the Pockket system, the transaction may require verification with the payment processor before its final status is determined.

Customers should not immediately make repeated payments for the same recharge when the first transaction is still showing as pending. The transaction status should be checked first.

4. Duplicate Payment

If a customer believes that the same service or recharge has been paid for more than once, the customer should contact support with the relevant transaction references, registered mobile number and payment details.

Duplicate-payment cases will be verified against the transaction records. Any eligible reversal or refund will be processed according to the verified transaction status.

5. Digital Services

For services completed entirely through digital processing, online submission or digital assistance, payments are generally non-refundable once service processing has started.

Examples may include eligible application assistance, document processing, online submissions and other digital services where work has already been performed.

6. Application / Registration Services

For PAN Card assistance, GST Registration, FSSAI Registration, legal documentation, taxation assistance and other application services, cancellation or refund eligibility may depend on whether processing, document verification, preparation or submission has already started.

Important: Customers should review the service details, required documents and applicable charges before making payment. An application or service reference does not by itself mean that a government authority has approved or completed the application.

7. Semi-Digital / Physical Services

For services involving digital processing together with printing, document preparation, physical handling or delivery, a partial refund may be considered where cancellation is requested before completion.

Any eligible refund may be reduced by work already completed and applicable processing, printing, preparation, packaging or delivery costs.

8. Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests should be raised as soon as possible and before the applicable service has been completed or submitted, where cancellation is supported for that service.

A cancellation request does not automatically establish refund eligibility. The transaction and service status will be reviewed before any refund is approved.

For faster support: Please provide the Application ID, transaction ID/order ID, registered mobile number, payment reference and a brief description of the issue.

9. Refund Processing

Where a refund or reversal is approved, it will be initiated through the applicable payment/refund process. The time for the amount to reflect in the customer's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI system or other payment method.

A refund request may require transaction verification before processing. Customers should retain the relevant payment reference until the matter is resolved.

10. Non-Refundable / Generally Ineligible Situations

Refunds may generally not be available in situations including:

  • A recharge has already been successfully completed for the customer-provided details.
  • The customer entered an incorrect mobile number, DTH subscriber ID, operator or other service detail and the transaction was successfully processed.
  • A digital service has already been substantially processed, prepared or submitted.
  • Work has already been performed based on incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
  • Applicable printing, preparation, processing or delivery work has already been completed for a semi-digital/physical service.

The actual eligibility of a transaction will depend on its verified status and the nature of the service involved.

11. Government / Operator / Third-Party Processing

Some services depend on telecom operators, DTH operators, government departments, statutory authorities, payment processors or other third-party systems.

Where a third-party system determines the final transaction or application status, refund or reversal handling may depend on the status received from that system and the applicable transaction process.

12. Payment Credentials

Pockket Recharge will not require customers to disclose their OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, password or other confidential payment credentials for the purpose of processing a refund.

Security notice: Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN or password with anyone claiming that it is required to release a refund.
